The Styx Wire Dropper is a high-performance alternative to traditional wooden or lightning droppers, specifically engineered for electric fences using 2.50mm wire. This durable, weather-resistant dropper provides superior alignment and support for your hot wires, ensuring consistency and reliability across farm fencing lines.
Its robust UV-stabilised polymer construction ensures it stands up to extreme conditions, and its universal channel design accommodates 3 to 10 wire configurations with ease.

- 2.50mm Wire Fit – Perfectly sized to suit standard 2.50mm wire, commonly used in electric and standard fences.

- Non-Conductive – Safe to use on live wires, unlike steel or lightning droppers which can cause shorts.

NB: This batten does not match the wire spacing/pitch of steel Y posts/waratahs, or wire lightning droppers.

1. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. We currently deliver to New Zealand, Australia and the US.
Collection from our depot is possible, however you are required to arrange all shipping and/or pickup costs.
2. Returns
We are happy to take undamaged, unused and unwrapped products back into stock, less a 15% re-stocking fee. The balance will be applied as a credit against your account. Return shipping costs are your expense.
