STYX ZAP ALERT™ – Non-Contact Electric Fence Tester
Know your fence is live – without touching the wire.
The STYX ZAP ALERT™ is a compact, easy-to-use non-contact electric fence tester designed for quick fence checks around the farm, lifestyle block or grazing property.
Simply press and hold the button and bring the Zap Alert within approximately 20cm of an electrified fence. When an electric fence pulse is detected, the unit beeps and flashes, giving you a fast indication that power is present – without needing to make contact with the fence wire.
Small enough to keep on your keys, in your pocket, ute or fencing kit, the Zap Alert is ideal for farmers, fencing contractors, horse owners and anyone who regularly needs to check electric fencing.

The STYX ZAP ALERT™ is designed as a convenient first-check tool to confirm the presence of electric fence pulses. If you need to diagnose fence faults or determine the actual voltage running through your fence, we recommend using a dedicated digital fence voltmeter.

Important: The Zap Alert detects the presence of electric fence pulses only and does not measure fence voltage. Never touch live electric fence wires to test them.
Shipping & Returns
1. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. We currently deliver to New Zealand, Australia and the US.
Collection from our depot is possible, however you are required to arrange all shipping and/or pickup costs.
2. Returns
We are happy to take undamaged, unused and unwrapped products back into stock, less a 15% re-stocking fee. The balance will be applied as a credit against your account. Return shipping costs are your expense.
